Vision
and Mission

At The Verardo Group, we believe in the power of collaboration and the potential of nonprofits and small businesses to make a lasting impact in their communities. Our mission is to empower and uplift these organizations by providing comprehensive pro bono services, including idea incubation, marketing and PR, financial consulting, fundraising consulting, and much more. Together, we strive to create a world where every mission-driven initiative has the resources and support it needs to thrive.

Driving Collaboration & Empowerment

Support To Foster Cohesion

We provide expert programming, mentorship, and support that fosters cohesion within communities and empowers mission-driven leaders. The Verardo Group serves as an incubator for emerging ideas and the next generation of “somebodies” eager to make a difference, offering the guidance, networks, and resources they need to thrive.

We recognize the real challenges nonprofits and small businesses face — limited capacity, funding constraints, and the pressure to deliver meaningful results. That is why we offer comprehensive pro bono services, combining strategic insight with hands-on assistance. Through our team of experts and volunteers, we strengthen organizational foundations, remove barriers, and help partners transform vision into sustainable impact.

Led by Sarah Verardo

At the helm of The Verardo Group is our President, Sarah Verardo. Sarah's personal experiences have fueled her dedication to causes close to her heart. Her unparalleled dedication to implement change and amplify the voices of those who need to be heard have made her a cornerstone of national and international organizations alike.

Inspired by her passion for veteran, ally, and caregiver support, she leads The Independence Fund, an organization committed to restoring the independence of wounded veterans. As a founder of Save Our Allies (SOA), a non government organization that does precision rescue and expeditionary medicine in war torn areas, Sarah has been instrumental in the direct impact and assistance for Afghans and Ukrainians through SOA’s global missions.

Due to Sarah’s unique experience and knowledge, Sarah advises Administration officials and members of Congress and has been instrumental in shaping national policy.

At the heart of Sarah's belief that if you can help someone, you must help them, was her husband, retired Army SGT Michael Verardo, who endured catastrophic and life changing wounds in Afghanistan in 2010. Michael succumbed to his injuries in August of 2025, but by continuing Michael's mission to serve and protect, Sarah enables transformative growth and innovation to leaders and causes.
